HOV wins BBB Ethics Award

Hospice of the Valley is the 2009 Business Ethics Award winner in the large company category in a contest sponsored by the Better Business Bureau. HOV was recognized for its commitment to developing, teaching and upholding ethical standards.

Kathy Melamed wins statewide social work award

Kathy Melamed, director of clinical services for Hospice of the Valley’s East Office, was presented the statewide “Lifetime Achievement” award from the National Association of Social Workers’ Arizona chapter on March 6.

Volunteer T.J. Houle wins AAA Caring Spirit Award

Dementia Program wins award

Hospice of the Valley’s Dementia Program received second place in the National Home Care and Hospice Association’s Excellence in Innovation award contest. The award recognizes HOV for improving the lives of persons with dementia and their families.

Adult Day Services Award

Governor's Volunteer Service Award

Hospice of the Valley won the non-profit category of the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award, considered the highest volunteer award in the state. The judges’ panel made the selection based on need, action, innovation and impact.
