Health, Dental and Vision Plans
With three medical plans and two dental plans to choose from, Hospice of the Valley offers excellent health, dental and vision plans that offer flexibility and choice. Vision coverage is available through Eye Med.
Life Insurance
HOV offers a life insurance policy to eligible employees equal to one times their annual salary and also offers the option of purchasing additional insurance for employees and their dependents.
Disability Insurance
HOV provides short term and long-term disability insurance to eligible employees and also offers the option of purchasing voluntary short-term disability insurance at group rates.
401k Retirement Savings Plan
HOV has an excellent retirement savings plan that enables employees to save for their future. Pre-tax contributions are subject to current maximum limitations set by the IRS. Employer matching contributions are available based on employee participation and hours worked.
Flexible Spending Plan for Health and Dependent Care
Employees may elect to participate in our flexible spending program that allows them to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for anticipated health care expenses and dependent care.
Tuition Reimbursement
HOV demonstrates its commitment to employee development and continuous learning by offering a tuition reimbursement program to full-time and part-time employees for approved courses of study. Tuition reimbursement is provided to all HOV employees.
Time Off
HOV understands the importance of balancing work life with home life and provides a generous time-off policy for vacations, holidays, illness, family and personal needs. Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays are provided to both regular full-time and part-time employees.
Employee Assistance Plan
HOV understands that employees have a great deal of challenges to balance in their lives. To help ensure that there is support available when staff members need it, HOV offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The program enables employees to receive confidential, professional counseling services to help deal with personal, work- and family-related problems. EAP services are provided at no cost to employees.
