  1. How do I apply for a job at Hospice of the Valley?
    First view and select a job from our list of job openings and then submit an online application for that specific job. Every employment application is linked to a specific job opening. We accept applications for open positions only. Back to Top
  2. Can I submit a paper application or resume?
    All applicants must complete an application online. Having applications available online allows faster transmissions of information between our managers and the Human Resources department and reduces chances that paperwork will be misdirected. You can include your electronic resume during the application process.

  3. How long does it take to complete an online application?
    The length of the application process varies, depending on your computer and the type of Internet connection you are using. Typically, an application can be completed in about 20 minutes.

  4. What can I do if I need help filling out an electronic application?
    If you need help filling out an application or require assistance or accommodation during any phase of the pre-employment process, please contact Human Resources at 602.636.2213.

  5. How can I stay current on jobs that interest me but that are not currently posted on the web site?
    Use the "Job Agent" link to stay informed about job listings at Hospice of the Valley. You can specify the jobs that interest you and our system will notify you via e-mail should the job(s) of interest open in the future.

    Once you are logged in, the "Job Agent" tab can be found at the top of the applicant profile page.

  6. How can I check the status of my application?
    You can check the status of your application if you completed an applicant profile. Go to www.hov.org and click on the careers page, then click "login now" at the bottom of the page. You will then be asked to login.

  7. How do I know if a job is still open?
    If the job is still posted on our web site, the job is still open.

  8. I am visiting from out of town. Can I see a recruiter today?
    Same-day appointments can be made based on the availability of the recruiter and department management. Please call Human Resources at 602.636.2213.

  9. What if I forget my user name and/or password?
    On the applicant login page, there is a link to assist you with your user name and password. Click on the link where you will be asked a series of questions to validate your identity. You will then be asked to choose between having an e-mail message sent to you with your user name and password or you may choose to have your user name and password displayed on the site directly.

  10. What happens after I submit an application?
    You will receive an e-mail that confirms we have received your application. All applications are reviewed by a member of our recruiting team and/or hiring manager. Applications that meet the minimum requirements for a position are further evaluated and forwarded to the department manager.

  11. Why, as a new user, should I create an Online Applicant Profile?
    This login profile allows you to update your applicant information, review the status of all your job search activities and receive automatic email notifications when specific positions become available.

    Human Resources is located at 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We can be contacted at 602.636.2213. Computers in our lobby are available for you to complete your online application.
