Patients, Families & Friends
Hospice of the Valley understands that diseases of dementia can result in a long journey for the person with dementia and their family. Based on the hospice principles of caring for the body, mind and spirit, our services are designed to support your needs and wishes. For caregivers, we offer respite care, grief counseling, guidance in understanding the changes in your loved one, and an opportunity to connect with other families sharing similar experiences. We provide training for positive experiences with your loved one, regardless of the stage of his or her disease. We also offer visits from licensed pet therapy volunteers to Hospice of the Valley patients and families who enjoy animals.
