Event Sponsorship

Becoming a Hospice of the Valley special event sponsor is fun and rewarding. Proceeds from fundraising events provide important support for our end-of-life care programs and services.  

Sponsorships are a way for corporations to promote their brand while supporting a worthwhile cause and entertaining employees and clients. For individuals, sponsorships are a great way to introduce friends to Hospice of the Valley and enjoy spending time together.

Sponsorship Benefits

Benefits of sponsoring these exclusive events typically include the sponsor’s name on all collateral materials, publicity, Web postings and promotional activities. Additionally, depending on the event and level of sponsorship, sponsors will receive tickets to events, priority seating, verbal recognition at the event, and acknowledgment in Hospice of the Valley’s Horizons publication, distributed to more than 15,000 donors and community supporters.

 

Signature Event Overview

Off the Vine Vintage Wine Auction
Calling the Valley’s wine and food lovers! Join us at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa for the annual Off the Vine Vintage Wine Auction. The night begins with delicious pairings under the stars, and features silent and live auctions of rare and vintage wines, unique culinary experiences and exciting vineyard trips. All proceeds benefit Hospice of the Valley’s patients and families.

  • Estimated event production cost: $50,000

Sponsorships available at the $3,000, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $25,000, $50,000 levels.

AAHA! An Auction of Heirlooms & Art
AAHA! An Auction of Heirlooms and Art, signature fundraising gala for Hospice of the Valley, includes dinner and live and silent auctions with collectible pieces by renowned artists, antiques and one-of-a-kind experiences. The enduring classic “Some Enchanted Evening”—as interpreted by contemporary singer Harry Connick Jr.—will set the tone for this evening of fine art. Event proceeds benefit Hospice of the Valley’s patients and families.

Hospice of the Valley's Pro-Am Golf Tournament
Presented by Cigna Healthcare of Arizona

Hospice of the Valley’s Pro-Am Golf Tournament presented by Cigna Healthcare of Arizona is a fun day out on the course that raises crucial funds for Hospice of the Valley programs and services. The tournament begins with a shotgun start, with lunch followed by an awards ceremony and reception. The tournament boasts a $10,000 professional purse and includes top players from the Southwest Section of the PGA.

Format

  • 28 SWSPGA Professionals
  • 28 Amateur Foursomes
  • 1 best ball, Amateur’s Net or Professional’s Gross
  • Modified scramble for amateurs with minimum three drives each

Sponsorships available at the $2,500 and $5,000 levels. Foursomes are $1,400.

Light Up a Life
Light Up a Life celebrates the lives of loved ones who have died through a large-scale moving photo montage set to music. This unique event is free and open to the community, regardless of whether the person who died was cared for by Hospice of the Valley.

  • Approximate number of volunteers: 50
  • Estimated event production cost: $70,000

  • 2,000 printed programs
  • Press releases sent to local media outlets
  • Promotion on HOV website

  • Verbal recognition at the event by Executive Director Susan Levine
