On the campus of Maricopa County Medical Center sits Hospice of the Valley’s first bilingual inpatient hospice home, which opened in 2003. Artwork of multi-cultural images adorns the walls – dancing kachinas, cowboys from Guatemala and Mexican children playing. The nine-bed unit has five private and two semi-private rooms. A family room with contemporary leather furnishings and hardwood floors is a warm gathering place for extended families and friends.
