Teen Grief Support
For teens, grieving the loss of a loved one can be especially challenging because adolescents are still maturing mentally and emotionally.
Anger, sadness, withdrawal, guilt and anxiety are common effects grief can have on teens. Hospice of the Valley provides help for teens working their way through grief. Counseling is available for teens and family members affected by the loss of a loved one served by Hospice of the Valley. To make arrangements, contact Hospice of the Valley’s New Song Center for Grieving Children, 480.951.8985. Also see our GriefSpeak resources below for teens and adults
In addition, the New Song Center for Grieving Children offers support groups for teens as well as young adults, children and parents. For more information, visit the New Song Center teen page.
