Ryan House volunteers
Hospice of the Valley partners with Ryan House to provide care and respite for medically-fragile children.
Ryan House volunteers assist clinical staff—spending quality time with youngsters—reading, doing arts and crafts, playing games, listening to music and enjoying other fun activities. Volunteers also play a vital role in helping Ryan House run smoothly—assisting with general housework, doing laundry or even cooking for the children—all touches that help make Ryan House feel like home.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, be accepted through an interview process, attend orientation courses and commit to a weekly shift. If you are interested in becoming a Ryan House volunteer, please submit an application and select "Ryan House" on the application form.
