Every Monday from 10–11:15 a.m.

Join us! Care partners enjoy stimulating conversation in educational and support sessions. People with dementia experience engaging activities provided by professional caregivers specially trained in dementia care. Registration preferred, but walk-ins welcome.

Methods to Optimize Dementia Caregiver Well-Being. Join us for an exploration of evidence-based approaches that dementia caregivers have found helpful to optimize their own health and well-being.

Prior to the sessions on May 5 and May 19, 9:15–10 a.m.
We offer the Dementia Moments Experience, a simulation that presses participants to perform everyday tasks as if they were living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.

Dementia Care Partner Online Support Group

Every Wednesdays, noon – 1:00PM

Join other care partners while remaining in the comfort of your home to discuss the stresses, challenges and rewards of providing care for a person living with dementia.

This free virtual group is facilitated by Nicole Crothers, a skilled Hospice of the Valley medical social worker with over 20 years’ experience in dementia care.

Our Dementia Programs are directed by Maribeth Gallagher, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctoral degree in nursing practice who has won national and international awards.

Maribeth is a featured speaker at professional conferences and a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. She's also been a family caregiver herself.

Learn more about living well with dementia from her presentations on topics including: meaningful engagement, music therapy benefits, understanding caregiver grief and much more.
